Kinesio Tape can Make a Significant DifferenceÂ
Kinesio taping has been such a difference maker for our patients with lymphedema that we now include it as part of our Complete Decongestive Therapy (CDT). The accumulation of lymphatic and other body fluids in patients with lymphedema causes great discomfort and inflammation. Kinesio tape helps reduce this inflammation by gently lifting the skin, allowing for fluid drainage in and out of the targeted area. It’s truly amazing how this technique can provide relief and support to our patients.
