If treatment is required beyond those 21 days, a prescription is required. For wound care services, a medical doctor’s approval on the plan of care is needed within 30 days of the initial treatment, and some treatments may warrant a physician’s prescription.
Appointments can be available as soon as the next day, should there is an opening. If there’s a cancellation, you may receive a call to move your appointment if this can be arranged in your personal schedule.
The doctor in Physical Therapy will assess your vitals, gross strength and range of motion, sensation, coordination, balance, and functional mobility skills, such as gait and transfers.
